Why You Must Civilly Disobey on July 4th
From Wikipedia:
Independence Day (colloquially the Fourth of July or July 4) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States, on July 4, 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies were no longer subject (and subordinate) to the monarch of Britain, King George III, and were now united, free, and independent states.
Today, governments around the country have issued mandatory mask orders, and many have banned public gatherings.
If you cancel your July 4 plans because of this, you miss the point of celebrating Independence day in the first place.
Civilly disobey
Protect your freedoms before none of us have any left.
I wish all of this was an exaggeration.
The past few months have stressed me out as I have been forced to contemplate the future for my family.
We are already making plans. We may leave the country. I don't know yet.
I feel like I might be forced from the home we just moved into. Never in my life would I have guessed the government would interfere in private citizen's lives the way it has in 2020. I always assumed cooler heads would prevail in government and that our constitution and freedoms would be upheld.
I was always the eternal optimist.
Now I've been forced to rethink things.
I take no enjoyment in "I told ya so." This literally means nothing to me, and I hope I never ever have to say it. I fear I will.
I don't want to be saying "I told ya so" in 2021 as some new bogey virus comes around, which is very likely to pave the way for the government and the elite to do things like mandate vaccines and then chip, track and otherwise citizens like cattle.
Who knows what other new things they will do in the name of "safety."
If you look close enough at what has gone on in the past few months, you will see that this is probably only a matter of time.
This is why: 50-100 coronaviruses a year are out there EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
So now every year we have to hope that the media and/or some nefarious individual or power-hungry politician doesn't pick one of these up and weaponize it. Because when that happens, there is 0% chance that the result will be less severe than the 2020 response.
The way these things go, and the way the media perpetuates the fear-mongering, things are always worse than last time.
Based on the math, it makes it statistically likely that this will happen in the future, maybe even every year, and the American public will give up a bit more freedom each time.
This becoming normalized is my greatest fear, not because of any quarantine or mask-wearing or whatever, but because of the new things they will try to do. Things that we probably can't even fathom. Things that will make the 2020 conspiracy theories look like child's play.
That's what I'm afraid of.
And this showcases the importance of what Franklin meant by this quote:
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
No matter where you fall on the spectrum of the many hot button issues, there are a few things we know for sure.
Let's do a shortlist of the facts:
50-100 coronaviruses come out a year; some mutate, some die-off, some new ones come about. This is nature, and there is nothing we can do to stop this. (Vaccines? By the time a vaccine is produced, the virus has mutated and is meaningless. The flu shot each year is one of the greatest scams of our time.)
Our political landscape has become extremely polarized and divisive to the point where the left/right don't work together on anything and instead go to war while the American public has to sit there and watch and suffer.
The internet and the tech monopolies control public opinion. They censor and label "conspiracy theory" to anyone that challenges the narrative and offers conflicting information. This will only get worse.
Look throughout history and see how many rights have been given up by the American public in the name of "safety."
Remember, terrorists that were apparently everywhere?
Well, the patriot act was/is a gross overstep of government and has been used against American citizens even though it was "intended" to be used against foreign enemies.
The War on Drugs.
Another joke that has failed dismally and is why we have overflowing prisons, and countless lives lost and is one of the core reasons we have police brutality in the first place.
And guess who perpetuates and profits from this?
The corrupt politicians and prosecutors that use the justice system for personal political ends. Yet no one is going after them, why?
Instead, the ignorant public is going after the police who are actually just pawns being moved around by the real players. This is just another smokescreen diversion used by those in power. It happens every time.
Listen, I'm sorry I had to even go here.
I want to focus on human health and mindset. I'm here to help people improve their lives.
But I feel that ignoring what's going on is like doing a workout on the beach as a tsunami barrels down on us all.
I just can't not go here. I can't not do my part.
Please fight back whatever way you can.
Stand up for what is right. Protect your freedoms. Civilly disobey.
The government cannot put everyone in jail, and they know it.
This will all stop the second the public stops accepting it.
Hopefully, that will happen before some new Orwellian law is passed and it becomes the beginning of the end.
